New World Resources cuts prices

The Europe-wide slowdown has forced Czech coal producer New World Resources to cut prices.

Weakening European demand has forced New World Resources to drop its fourth-quarter prices for coking coal and coke by 9 and 13 per cent respectively. Estimated coke sales for 2011 were also reduced to between 525 and 575 kilotons, from a previous forecast of 720 kilotons.
