Diagnostics specialist EKF has received regulatory clearance for the sale of its haemoglobin measurement system in the US.

EKF's product was already registered in the US, but this clearance allows for a name change and for its partner, Alere, to distribute it through its sales channels under an exclusive agreement, effectively opening up the US market to EKF properly for the first time.
