For the first time in quite a few months, I've gone short of the stock market. I initiated a small position in the FTSE 100 on the morning of Wednesday 25 April. This isn't because I've now turned bearish in my overall outlook for equities, however. I remain convinced that we will head higher before long, but think we may get a bit more near-term weakness. The next big opportunity should be a buy, and I'm not the only one who thinks so.
