The CFA Society of the UK is the representative body for the UK's 10,000 investment professionals, and administers professional development programmes, including the prestigious CFA qualification (held by Dominic Picarda, one of the feature's authors) and the Investment Management Certificate.
The society - the largest society within the global CFA Institute network outside of the US - launched its journalism awards last year to further its aims of promoting high professional and ethical standards and of informing policy makers and the public about the investment profession.
"The awards recognise the contribution that media professionals make towards informing our clients about our profession, and who have most effectively educated their readers on investment best practice, ethics and professionalism throughout the past year," said Will Goodhart, chief executive of CFA UK.
