If you ever wondered where your Christmas crackers came from, they're likely to have been manufactured in China by UK-listed International Greetings (IGR). The group also makes and sells wrapping paper, gift bags, stationery, educational and creative play supplies through some of the world's biggest retailers.
But a few years ago, International Greetings was in turmoil as debt levels soared. It's now on a much firmer footing and looks in better shape. To find out how the recovery is progressing, we went to the group's showroom in Milton Keynes to catch up with chief executive Paul Fineman.
