IC Daily email update
March 22, 2017

In his stock screen this week Algy Hall revisits a momentum strategy which he can trace back to the peak of the pre-financial crisis bull market in 2007. Over recent months there has been something of a reversion to the mean, but over the longer term this strategy stacks up – find out which companies Algy has identified this time around.

Companies editor Ian Smith’s Taking Stock column this week looks at Vodafone, the telecoms giant which has recently proposed a major revamp of its operations in India. Ian assesses Vodafone’s situation and wonders whether its size has slowed down what was once a cutting edge telecoms company into a lumbering giant constantly forced to take up defensive positions.

Mr Bearbull this week casts his eye over the valuation of UK equities with traditional measures suggesting that the FTSE100 and FTSE All Share are overvalued, unlike his Bearbull Income Fund – find out more.
