IC Weekender email update
April 28, 2017

We concluded our week with the second part of the Aim100 review of the biggest stocks on London’s junior market with our verdict on each. For further discussion on this and the other main news in this week’s magazine, listen in to our free Companies & Markets podcast.

We also published two more podcasts this week, firstly a Boardroom Talk catch up with events specialist UBM and secondly an IC special podcast on drugs pricing and how politics can affect the pharmaceutical and biotech investment case.

Our specialist stock picker Simon Thompson this week published two columns, firstly he looked at four undervalued growth plays and in his second column he highlighted a trio of small cap stocks. Elsewhere among our commentators this week, Mr Bearbull looked at the French election and its effect on currency markets while Chris Dillow explained why he is following the ‘Sell in May’ mantra and companies editor Ian Smith looked at the effect politics can have on company valuations.

Elsewhere this week our sector focus took a look at hobbyist retailers, Tom Dines assessed the effect of the potential energy price cap on companies in the sector, Megan Boxall looked at how London is faring in the IPO market and Alex Newman reported on Eddie Stobart Logistics’ listing on Aim.
