An India-focused infrastructure investment fund raised £36.7m and listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange this week. Infrastructure India has already committed to acquiring a 20.5 per cent interest in a 400MW hydroelectric power project in Madhya Pradesh. The fund is looking for other power projects, as well as road and airport assets.

The fund is targeted at a fast-growing market and has experience on its management team via PFI Infrastructure Company and John Laing. Fairly priced at 100.5p until it fleshes out its portfolio.
