Alizyme pipeline running dry

Alizyme shares got their second beating this year, plummeting over 40 per cent to record lows after its irritable bowel syndrome treatment, Colal-Pred, failed to indicate effectiveness relative to standard treatment.
At 9p, the company's share price has fallen 90 per cent in the past 12 months. This latest setback comes after its other IBS treatment, Renzapride, also failed to achieve a positive outcome in a late-stage clinical trial.
IC VIEW:
FairlyPriced
At this stage, the pressure is still squarely on Alizyme's weight loss drug, cetilistat, to deliver results. Alizyme is well funded, but the market has lost all faith in the story, making the shares cheap. If you are in, there is still a glimmer of hope, but it's double-or-bust stuff now. Fairly priced.
