Profit warning from Jacques Vert

Jacques Vert is to miss profit expectations by £0.5m with like-for-like sales down by 0.5 per cent. The struggling womens clothing retailer has experienced "some deterioration in trading during the past few weeks" and profits are now expected to come in between £4m and £4.5m.

Shares in Jacques Vert have slipped 6 per cent to 9.25p since our buy recommendation (9.88p, 15 January 2008). With trading conditions showing little signs of easing, and now a profit warning to boot, its shares are fairly priced.
