As well as editing the IC's trading section, his recommendations also appear in the weekend edition of the Financial Times. He holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Market Technician qualifications. He believes that we are a long way from the end of this downturn and his presentation identifies the asset classes and sectors that will keep investors safe during 2009.

SEE YOU AT THE NEXT ROADSHOW...

The way to get the best out of roadshows is, of course, to attend in person - you get to hear the commentary and participate in the lively Q&A sessions that follow. Investors Chronicle will be on the road again in the autumn: at the Inmarsat Conference Centre in London (2 November), the Midland Hotel in Manchester (4 November) and the Macdonald Roxburghe Hotel (6 November). Roadshows are free for investors to attend, but places are limited - so we do ask that you register. More details at www.icroadshow.com
