Shares in Pets at Home (PETS) have lost some of their momentum in recent months, so here's hoping a forthcoming set of annual results from the company will help buck things up.

You can hardly blame the market for its trepidation. Former chief executive Nick Wood took plenty of people by surprise in March when he announced he would quit the business in order to spend more time with his London-based family. Ian Kellet, who had been busy as the head of the retail division, took over the reins in April and will steer the results announcement next week.
