Brownfield regeneration specialist Inland Homes (INL) has agreed a joint venture with contractor Anderson Group to develop 43 new homes on a three-acre site in Basildon, Essex. Each party has contributed an initial £1.44m to the project, which has an estimated gross development value of around £13m.
This is the first phase of the Gardiners Lane regeneration project that could see around 800 new homes being built. Anderson is already acting as civil and groundwork engineer on three existing sites being developed by Inland Homes in Essex. Construction of the latest joint venture will be undertaken by Anderson's Constable Homes subsidiary, while Inland Homes will be responsible for the sales and marketing of the units. Groundwork is expected to start this week.
