This rapid growth in the number of centenarians reflects advances in medicine and improvements in nutrition and living conditions, which have boosted life expectancy. But a larger elderly dependant population has mounted pressure onto Britain's health and social care providers. The main problem is that the UK's healthy life expectancy has not kept apace with the increased total life expectation.
Aim-traded Totally (TLY) is addressing these challenges through the provision of services to help promote healthy living. In its recent half-year results, the group provided an update on progress at its four operating subsidiaries. Although it is still early days, the group is attracting an increasing number of clients and has signed a number of contracts with various NHS trusts.
