April 19, 2017

Sentiment towards Acal (ACL) has bounced about over the past year, as befits a small international supplier of customised electronics. This week brought a qualified return to optimism, after a trading update revealed a 16 per cent bump in fourth quarter order intake at constant exchange rates. Including the benefits of acquisitions, revenues were also up 15 per cent in the period, meaning management now expects full-year results to be "slightly ahead" of expectations.
