Drilling for profit in small-cap resources seminar

Investment Trust Seminars 2013
Investment trusts are a useful, often low-cost way of gaining exposure to different areas of the market. The introduction of the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) in 2013 is expected to increase demand for these popular vehicles, benefiting holders of investment trusts, encouraging product launches and bringing greater competition to the market. Our series of four seminars will include insight from our acclaimed journalists and comment from industry experts on the key areas and considerations when investing in investment trusts.
Global Growth Investment Trusts
In our first seminar, we took a look at the difference between the approaches of the big global trusts, plus a look at different global investing strategies, for example large companies vs. smaller companies. For more information, click here.
Investment trusts offer a way to access different sources of income around the world. We take a look at the best income-producing trusts across different AIC sectors. For more information, click here.
Many UK investors have been increasing their exposure to emerging markets in the light of problems in the eurozone. We take a look at where the particular risks lie when investing in emerging markets, plus the areas with the best potential for long-term growth. Specialist Trusts
The investment trusts sector is full of funds holding weird and sometimes wonderful assets whose prospects are not wedded to those of the major indices. We take a tour through these specialist vehicles.
