Profits halve at Huntsworth

RESULTS: Profits have suffered at Huntsworth, but chief executive Peter Chadlington is confident that trading will improve significantly in 2012
April 3, 2012

Contract slippage chipped £4m off full-year revenues at media and public relations group Huntsworth, while £8.5m of one-off costs weighed on profits. However, the business has been reshaped to focus on larger, multi-office contracts and chief executive Peter Chadlington says the group has generated 24 per cent of expected full-year operating profits in the first quarter alone. While the undemanding share price rating suggests an attractive recovery play.
