Trouble at mill for Arian

A dispute with a toll mill owner was enough to send shares in Mexico-focused Arian Silver tumbling.

Arian Silver lost one-fifth of its market value after the silver producer announced the suspension of a pilot milling project at its flagship San Jose operations in Zacatecas State, Mexico.

A subsidiary of the dual-listed precious metals miner is in a dispute with the owner of a toll mill contracted to process ore in a trial phase designed to assess the potential for large-scale commercial operation at the San Jose site. Negotiations are ongoing to resolve the dispute.
