Physical ETFs

Physical ETFs, similar to open-ended funds and investment trusts, buy the shares or assets that they track. This in theory means they are lower risk than other types of ETF, and their make-up is much easier for investors to understand. The main providers of physical ETFs listed on the London Stock Exchange are iShares and HSBC, and Powershares and Credit Suisse also offer some.
