FTSE rally falls flat

The FTSE's latest bounce has run into early problems, but there's still the possibility of a Santa rally
November 29, 2012

Once again, the FTSE 100's latest rally hasn't lasted long, says Mike van Dulken at www.accendomarkets.com.

Slow progress by America's politicians towards resolving the fiscal cliff has helped turn investors bearish once more. The FTSE faces significant barriers to further upside between 5814 and 5853, especially from the falling red line from last year's bull-market highs. Still, at least there's the chance of Santa Claus rally yet to come.
