SSE short circuits

The electricity giant's share price is set to power downwards very soon
January 9, 2013

SSE is underperforming the FTSE 100 and has run into an obstacle on its charts, says Mike van Dulken at www.accendomarkets.com

Its MACD indicator of momentum has been falling since mid-October, which is bearish in the context of a rising share price. Of course, the share remains in a long-term uptrend, but a drop to 1,400p seems to be on the cards. We recommend shorting from 1,462p, placing a stop at 1,480p.
