Norbert Teufelberger is a non-executive director at GVC Holdings (GVC), but those familiar with the gambling sector may remember him as the former chief executive of Bwin.Party Digital Entertainment, which was recently acquired by the former. You might also remember Bwin shares were a sinking ship over the past couple of years, whereas GVC shares are still trading at a three-year high. Perhaps it comes as no surprise then to see Mr Teufelberger making use of that good run, not to mention the closing of the deal, and cashing out to the tune of more than £2m.

It's also good timing given the upcoming changes for GVC shareholders in light of the acquisition. The stock was once a steady income play, but bosses have cut the 2016 payout in order to absorb costs related to the deal.
