Just when the British thought it was time to ditch the overcoat and enjoy the blooms…Also today the top five French Presidential candidates will go head to head in a televised debate expected to last almost three hours and be watched by about eight million viewers.

In a complete break with tradition the final G20 communiqué signed by finance ministers over the weekend did not include a clause on their commitment to anti-protectionism and favouring globalisation because it was ‘unable to force partners to go along with wording with which they don’t agree; we have reached an impasse’, said Germany’s Wolfgang Schauble.
