OptiBiotix (OPTI) only listed on Aim in 2014. It's yet to turn a profit and only booked its first revenues in 2015, and yet it is on the cusp of spinning out and listing one of its divisions as its own separate entity.

SkinBiotix - which is looking to develop treatments for skin complaints such as psoriasis using healthy gut bacteria - is due to debut on Aim within the next few weeks with the name Skin BioTherapeutics. Opti will be a major shareholder in the new group, alongside Manchester University, where the company’s technology platform was developed.
