June 8, 2017

There have only been six investment company launches since the start of the year but they are about to be joined by a seventh. Personal finance writer Emma Agyemang finds out what ScotGems will invest in, who its managers and directors are, and why they think this area has great potential for investors.

Talking of potential, this week's tip highlights a fund that invests in an area which includes some of the world's fastest growing economies so offers the potential for strong growth. It is also run by a very well resourced team and has already proved its ability to generate good returns.

In our latest podcast Daniel Godfrey, co-founder of The People's Trust, explains what this forthcoming fund will invest in and how it will be run.
