Signs are emerging that the game could be up for central bank rate-cutters, as there is limited scope for monetary policy to try and stymie recessionary fears. The gold price is looking interesting right now, and a little exposure to well-financed gold mining companies and precious metals might be prudent.
Included in the companies round-up this week is an interesting play in case we are headed for recession. I've also taken a look at a couple of companies in sectors where I think the outlook is rather precarious.
