Emerging markets are wobbling: MSCI’s index of them has fallen almost 10 per cent in US dollar terms since January’s peak. One reason for this is that investors are worried about the possible impact of a rising US dollar. Such concerns are reasonable, but by no means the only problem for emerging markets.
