For all of the words expended on the subject of investing, I am often struck by the thought that you don’t need to know very much at all to be a decent investor. I have a list of 20 rules as my desktop background which serve me well as a framework – I didn’t compile the list (H/T Charlie Bilello), but I’ve written about most of its principles in these editorials at some point or another, so I don’t feel too bad about borrowing it.
