Amid the dreadful din of the current news cycle, this Tuesday marked International Women’s Day.
Not to miss a trick, the Edinburgh-based Bitcoin wallet provider Zumo used the day to launch its #CryptoConfidence campaign. Its stated aim, without a shred of self-interest, is to help women “gain a better understanding of the use cases of crypto and boost their confidence” while redressing the sector’s well-known gender imbalance. “We want to help women to become more confident with crypto because it’s the future,” claims Zumo’s marketing director Amelie Arras.
