Directors at building product manufacturer Ibstock (IBST) seem to sell in pairs. For the second time this year, chief executive Wayne Sheppard and finance director Kevin Sims have sold large chunks of their shares – 2.5m and 2m respectively – on the same day, as they did back in late March. Mr Sheppard still holds 5.08m shares in the company, while Mr Sims still holds 2.92m. These latest sales bring their holdings to 1.25 per cent for Mr Sheppard and 0.72 per cent for Mr Sims

While the two have been selling down in unison, non-executive director Justin Read has been taking advantage of the recent weakness in the share price, picking up a rather more modest 10,000 shares in late March, a few days after the sell-down. He bought another 7,500 in August, in the wake of the sales booked in this week's table.
