The husband of IntegraFin (IHP) chief operating officer Judith Davidson has disposed of £1.55m in shares, two days after the group behind financial adviser platform Transact released an encouraging trading update for its third quarter.
IntegraFin staged a recovery in its quarter ending 30 June, reversing a traumatic second quarter that saw market movements drive its funds under direction (FuD) from £39.3bn to £35bn. Market movements of £4bn helped return IntegraFin’s FuD to pre-pandemic levels at £39.5bn, although inflows fell 28 per cent compared with Q2 to £1.2bn.
IntegraFin’s net inflow of £797m sat at a level that was almost identical to its third quarter last year, though. Despite FuD reaching a record high for the close of a quarterly period, chief executive Alex Scott remains cautious. “The outlook for the next quarter is obviously heavily dependent upon the economic effects of the measures being taken to combat Covid-19 and their impact upon equity markets, FuD and flows,” he said.
The company declined to comment on Patrick Sweeney’s disposal. IntegraFin also disclosed two minor share sales in June, made by two trusts associated with executive director Jonathan Gunby. Shares worth £6,145 were sold by each trust to satisfy their cash requirements.
Analysts at broker Peel Hunt forecast full-year 2020 adjusted pre-tax profits and earnings per share of £50m and 12.2p, respectively, rising to £55.6m and 13.6p in 2021.
