Frequently Asked Questions

Why is Alpha an additional subscription?

Investors’ Chronicle Alpha is a digital-only additional subscription which offers more in-depth reports, analysis and investment ideas from our expert writer to help you make more informed investment decisions. Each week you can read the latest Alpha screens, investment trust reports, small-cap research, and regular analysis from our expert writers, which help subscribers identify risks and opportunities and stay up to date on key investment trends through times of growth and volatility.

What is a digital subscription?

A digital subscription allows access to all Investors’ Chronicle subscription content, apart from IC Alpha articles, via the website www.investorschronicle.co.uk. It also provides subscribers with access to the Investors’ Chronicle app on desktop, mobile and tablet which provides a digital copy of each week’s magazine.

What is a Digital + Print subscription?

A ‘bundled’ digital + print subscription gives readers all the benefits of a digital subscription, including access to the Investors’ Chronicle app, plus the weekly magazine posted to your nominated delivery address 51 weeks a year.

How does magazine delivery work?

Our fulfilment partners will post out each print issue on a Thursday with the expectation that it will arrive via your normal postal service on a Friday. Whilst we endeavour to deliver your magazine every Friday, this cannot always be guaranteed. From time to time, inevitable delays to Royal Mail can occur. All magazines are labelled ‘time sensitive’ so we hope they arrive when they should.

What should I do to renew my subscription?

If you're paying by Direct Debit your subscription will continue automatically. You don’t need to do anything - you will continue to have digital access and receive your copy of the magazine every week. If you pay by credit or debit card, or cheque, we will send you advice and renewal prices in advance of the end of your subscription. You can also renew your subscription, and view your upgrade options, by clicking on 'My Account' and selecting 'My Subscription' from the drop-down menu.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellations by you and refunds: unless you cancel your subscription before we have started providing any part of it, you do not have any right to cancel your subscription or any part of it until the end of your then current subscription period except in the very limited circumstances which are referred to in these terms and conditions.
Magazines or bundled subscriptions: If your subscription includes magazine deliveries (with or without any digital access), then you have the right to cancel your subscription, without giving any reason, within a 14 day period from the day on which you receive the first magazine. You may notify us of your wish to cancel your subscription by contacting our Customer Services team at: +44 (0) 185 843 8808 or investorschronicle@subscription.co.uk
