In Simon Thompson’s column today, he highlights a trio of small caps including a potentially lucrative way to profit from cyber security; a cash rich company specialising in the administration of pensions for international clients that has just raised earnings guidance for the second time in as many months; and a provider of finance to small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that’s on course to deliver 17 per cent EPS growth this year, but is being rated on a single digit earnings multiple.

In case you missed it, in his column on Monday Simon highlighted no less than six small cap opportunities which could be of interest.

Meanwhile in this week’s Taking Stock column, companies editor Ian Smith highlights the concerns about neo-colonialism, especially in the resources space and how a backlash in Tanzania is hurting some UK listed companies.
