While many dealerships have seen a fall-away in sales as the UK economy moved into the wrong end of the credit cycle, combined with the knock-on effects of the Volkswagen diesel scandal, the business model of BCA, the owner of webuyanycar.com, has proved remarkably resilient. The group’s remarketing businesses had been successful in winning several new contracts, enabling it to reveal “strong profit growth and with a net debt position lower than market forecasts”.
