Jupiter hit by bond jitters

The fund manager reported worse-than-expected net outflows during the first half

Jupiter Fund Management (JUP) has made much of its strategy to diversify away from equities in recent years, but it was fixed income exposure that hurt inflows during the first half. Central banks signalling an end to quantitative easing spooked investors, with a single fixed income product – Dynamic Bond (DB) – responsible for £1.9bn in mutual fund outflows.
