Experian exec’s wife banks gains

The share sale comes after a period of strong growth for the group

As more and more investors have bought in to the hot-take-du-jour that "data is the new oil" – in other words, that personal data has become the world’s most valuable commodity – companies that hold and are able to process data effectively have become increasingly attractive. Experian has been a major beneficiary, with its shares climbing 25 per cent since we tipped them in February (Buy, 1,558p, 22 Feb 2018).
