Investors could understandably react poorly to a set of results that revealed a 13.6 per cent fall in adjusted pre-tax profits and a 10.6 drop in earnings per share (EPS). Not so for vehicle hire company Northgate (NTG), whose share price jumped on the release of these half-year numbers that revealed just that.
