Taylor Wimpey posts solid end to year

Shares in Taylor Wimpey (TW.) rose by nearly 6 per cent on the morning the housebuilder indicated that trading remained solid in 2018. Total completions were up by 3 per cent to 14,947, with the number of affordable homes rising from 19 per cent of completions to 23 per cent.
