Alex Newman has been looking at how John Wood (WG.) has been faring 18 months after the completion of its merger with Amec Foster Wheeler. Our energy correspondent concludes that integration has its price. So while operating profits rose 68 per cent to $357m after amortisation, post-tax exceptional costs came in at $183m.
