IPF raises coupon and questions for shareholders

Retail investors have been given a rare chance to buy a liquid bond yielding 7.75 per cent

International Personal Finance (IPF) faces several risks: intense competition, regulatory pressure and slowing growth in a previously red hot Mexican market. To that list, shareholders in the doorstep lender can now add higher interest payments, as the group looks to close the order book for the highest-yielding retail bond in more than two decades.
