Ukraine iron ore miner Ferrexpo (FXPO) says its investigation into missing money at a charity set up to run its social projects has found indications “some of the funds may have been misappropriated”. The miner has not put a cash figure on how much is gone of the $110m (£90m) it gave to Blooming Land over six years, or who had taken it, beyond ruling out the involvement of any Ferrexpo management, directors or employees. Ferrexpo lost its auditor over the handling of the situation in April and two directors, one a former auditor at Deloitte, also left earlier than planned. Ferrexpo gained 2 per cent on the news.
