New business wins and a resurgence in sales via its partnership with Avaya have sent revenues up 14 per cent at Maintel (MAI) in the first six months of 2018. With 46 per cent of the full-year sales forecasts already booked, and recurring revenue at 70 per cent, analysts at finnCap are confident about their 15 per cent revenue growth forecasts and pre-tax profit forecasts of £12.9m (from £8.4m in 2017).

The telecoms group is in the throes of a shift towards cloud and managed service operations and, respectively, these two divisions reported a 22 per cent and 33 per cent revenue rise. Together they now contribute 46 per cent of the overall top line.
