Shares in Emis (EMIS) soared by a tenth on the news that its ‘Emis Health’ business has been awarded a place on the new NHS GP IT Futures framework, which replaces ‘GP Systems of Choice’. It will start in January next year, and – subject to a break option after year one – it could run until March 2023.
