Johnson Service suspends final dividend

The textile rental and cleaning specialist says the Covid-19 outbreak has driven significantly lower volumes from its ‘hotel, restaurants and catering’ division in recent weeks

At the time of its full year results in early March, textile rental and cleaning specialist Johnson Service (JSG) had yet to feel any impact from the Covid-19 outbreak. However, it has since seen reduced demand in its ‘hotels, restaurant and catering’ (Horeca) division, significantly lowering processing volumes. While the workwear segment has held up so far, it anticipates volumes there could also take a hit in due course.
