Elisabeth Murdoch, daughter of media magnate Rupert Murdoch and his second wife, Anna Murdoch Mann, joined the board of luxury group Jimmy Choo (CHOO) late last year. Roughly eight months later, Ms Murdoch has made her first share purchase, spending just shy of £34,000 on 31,317 shares.

The shoe king hired Ms Murdoch last November, with chairman Peter Harf citing her "wealth of experience" as motivation for the appointment. The group also described her as "a leading executive and entrepreneur in the media and technology sectors".
A trading statement on 15 June 2016 said the company remained on track to meet full-year expectations, but the share price has failed to find much momentum, reflecting concerns about the group's exposure to Asia and a wider softening in global consumer spending.
