Redde or not? Transport group enters new phase as Zigup

Four years on from a game-changing merger, the FTSE 250 company is navigating fresh challenges as it rebrands

Redde Northgate (REDD) is in the midst of a rebrand. Having secured the consent of shareholders last week, it has changed its name to Zigup (with ZIG as the new ticker), which the company says better reflects its "updated purpose". The logic behind this is a bit fuzzy: diesel vans are still front and centre at the Darlington-based group. However, the makeover provides an excuse to reflect on its progress over the past four years.
