Information services provider GlobalData (DATA) could soon be able to say that it covers all sectors, according to chief executive Mike Danson. The company is in advanced discussions to acquire Research Views Limited, a data and analytics provider for the energy, construction and financial services sectors. Mr Danson, a part-owner of the target, said this would round out GlobalData’s coverage. It would be funded through the issue of 18m new GlobalData shares, equivalent to 17.6 per cent of what’s currently listed.
