Huntsworth positive despite revenue blip

TIP UPDATE: Strong pipeline and improving margins offset short-term revenue miss
November 22, 2010

Public relations company Huntsworth says revenues will be below expectations for the year to 31 December, but improved margins mean that both pre-tax profits and EPS will meet analyst expectations.

IC TIP: Buy at 74.5p

The revenue blip is down to protracted negotiations with a handful of new, large clients, but the point here is that Huntsworth is now making inroads in its strategy of pitching for global and multi-national accounts. It reports a "very strong pipeline of international and global pitches," and encouragingly, visibility for 2011 is good with around 65 per cent of next year’s £194m revenues already committed, based on Altium Securities estimates.
