Engineering and construction services group Kentz and partner Radicon-Gulf Consult have been awarded a project in Saudi Arabia worth in excess of $35m (£25m). The project is for engineering and consultancy services on the development of about 1,000 hectares of land to the north of Jubail Industrial City 2.

The five-year contract will commence imminently and covers urban planning, site development design and infrastructure. On its completion, Jubail Industrial City will be one of the largest of its kind in the world, accommodating major primary and secondary petrochemical industries as well as community housing and housing infrastructure.
