Tempus: Martin Waller thinks BG Group (Last IC View: Buy, 5 Jan)and East African partner Ophir Energy (No IC rating) are among the key investment plays in the region. But, as with all exploration and production activity, 'little is certain'.

No Pain, No Gain: Derek Pain says a strategic review under way at Rivington Street Holdings, which joined his portfolio 15 months ago, could create a business that bears little resemblance to the present Plus Markets-traded vehicle.

Midas: Joanne Hart says buy aircraft components supplier Senior (Last IC View: Buy, 30 Nov), 177p, for its solid, long-term potential.

Update: Take some profits in Sirius Minerals (Last IC View: Fairly priced, 15 Nov), tipped last May at 10.5p and now 25.5p, but keep the rest for further growth.
